Cal Poly-Pomona ALERT Products   • Minerals Exercise - An exercise that walks students through the identification of many common minerals. Specimen sets to utilize with the exercise are available through the Geosciences Department.   • Igneous Rocks Exercise - An exercise in the identification of common igneous rocks. Specimen sets for this exercise are available through the Geosciences Department.   • Metamorphic Rocks Exercise - An exercise in the identification of common metamorphic rocks. Specimen sets for this exercise are available through the Geosciences Department.   • GPS Exercise - Learn how to use a hand held Global Positioning device.
