We aspire to provide the
highest quality education in Earth Science and its applications.
Through hands-on learning methods, faculty-mentored research
and exposure to current technology, students acquire skills
applicable to careers in the Geosciences and related disciplines.
The Department’s programs provide students with a global
perspective for problem solving, decision making and leadership
roles in a changing world confronted by environmental challenges.
Our Geology BSc program has three different tracks:
Geology, Geophysics/Earth Exploration and Environmental Resources.
Our Geology MSc program
was initiated Fall 2012 with our first class of nine Master's candidates. Those seeking information about the Master's Program should click on the Master's Program Tab.
