FINAL GRADE
Mid Term - 25%
Final - 30% (Dec 7, 13:40-15:40)
Lab Exam - 20%
Lab Exercises - 25%
Lab Exercises are to be turned in on the date due. Late exercises will be penalized. No exercises will be accepted more than 5 days after the due date.
All the lecture notes for this course are available from my Intranet site at http://www.csupomona.edu/~drjessey/ . They consist of my older, more comprehensive notes (html format) and the newer, updated 2009 Powerpoint presentations (ppt.) I will be using this quarter.
There is an OPTIONAL field trip to the Trona-Gem-O-Rama October 10 and 11th. (Details at the first GeoClub Meeting, Sept. 29th). Any Mineralogy students who attend that field trip and turn in a receipt for either Day 1 or Day 2 will be permitted to drop their lowest Lab Exercise score from the grade spreadsheet.
