Objectives:

Students will learn various methods of measuring surface discharge (runoff) in perennial mountain stream. Flow values will be calculated from raw field data, then graphed using conventional Excel methods. Later evapotranspiration from Icehouse watershed and permeability values for variations in surface discharge will be analyzed in terms of local hydrogeology.
